Personally I am a good test taker and don't need to study for exams (to the extent I got my bachelor's degree without reading a textbook) so this may not apply to everyone, but I took the cheapest course available, completed it as fast as I possibly could (timed videos etc only allow you to take it so fast), then took several practice exams the few days leading up to my exam.

Assuming you aren’t using a manifold and you are using 100’ rolls, you will only need junctions for 90 degree bends, shut offs, and splits.
