Neighborhood Scout seems like a great tool, but I’m wondering if there are others that are more affordable?

Would any of you out of state or out of town investors be interested in a property scouting service with video and photos of potential properties?

We are (hopefully) taking an F-250 and Scout 23' center console boat with 225 Yamaha as a down payment on a house we are selling.

However, something to keep in mind is the high crime rate in Memphis (in particular, I am looking at data from Neighborhood Scout).

I have been scouting locations in my hometown and our agent has taken us to a few showings.This has made me realize just how new and inexperienced I am at REI.

I am looking in Indiana for my first OOS investing and we are actually here for 4 days to scout the area.

To either scout in Lafayette or the northern suburbs of Indy.

In the meantime, you can vet different contractors, re-read the BRRRR book, get pre-qualified for a loan, scout out the neighborhoods in your target submarket, network with realtors, etc.
