Hi, I’m living in Australia on a temporary visa which will be changed to permanent in 2 years. for a 300k prop I wanna buy, I have to pay 30k more than other people as stamp duty because I’m on a temporary visa. but the prop still giving me 3% yearly cash on cash.

I know lots of people in Melbourne Australia (one of the most expensive places in the world to buy) who love renting in area's they could never afford to buy in their life time, they make great money and love having a full time gardener etc that someone else manages, I know renters who are dismayed, unhappy, have no savings.. but we all know home owners who fit that bill too.
