As mentioned above, unfortunately my credit is not high enough to rent on my own, however talking my parents into buying a 2nd home after 10 years and now they are actually MAKING MONEY from having it rather than losing it in stocks is none of your business, however if I am signing a LEASE, I expect to have my privacy respected and not have a phone call/text anytime a car pulls up to my house because I want to get laid or smoke a medicinal joint with a friend.

Make sure smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors are up to code in rooms required.Sounds pretty fair, could be worse.

I purchased a house that had just this all over the entire place, Plus smoke smell and weed smell :) It was horrible.

However, they were on a nonsmoking lease (with the prior owner as well as the new lease with us), and we discussed the smoking issue with them when we purchased the property last year, and also sent a subsequent written warning which we received back with a very hostile and crude reply.
