Why is my inbox being blown up with "investors" training programs

It has been perhaps a month since I seriously started hunting for the latest up to date, meaning past the crash, information.  Now, it's like discovering termites.  Chip away a little tunnel dirt, and more termites come out.  Dig a little deeper looking further into the 12 or so methods of inquiring properties and soon so many people want to sell you their program for that method or others.  First thought, is the real estate for distressed, or motivated sellers that low that those "investors" are really making money from their materials on the masses new to the business?  Why are they willing to work ONLY with their "students"?  Why are so many investing from their recliner and out of their neighborhood?  Do these nationwide investing schemes really work?  Through my lifes experiences, I have learned a new word, "trustify", meaning of course, trust and then verify.  So here I am posing the questions to the real investment community.  Thank you in advance for your responses.

Like others have mentioned, most deals aren't found on someone's website. They are found locally through people you know, and people working in the community. There are plenty of sites just like that, just find a way to unsubscribe or block the emails if you can. @Jay Hinrichs has a great bit of advice there, as I have two emails and I use them in the same fashion when I know I am being lead captured, but want to take a peek inside something. Happens a lot with real estate agent websites as well.
