My advice is to follow your passions and try your best to squash your fears.

Go out and Volunteer somewhere you are passionate about, look into some books on Stoicism, or take 1-2 weeks of to Travel.

My wife, Mary, and I have always had a passion and an affinity towards anything real estate related, and we're so happy to be part of the BP family!
