Technically, I've been involved with real estate investing for over 10 years now but still consider myself a newbie.  I started out house hacking a condo that I purchased after graduating from college by renting it out to several roommates.  I have since owned several properties that I originally bought to live in and then converted to rentals after my family moved to new homes.  Each time we typically bought bigger but only managed one rental at a time.  Earlier in 2018, we sold our rental and purchased two vacation rentals through a 1031 exchange.

All this time I have had a successful job doing project management in the software industry, but my real passion is in real estate investing.  I have recently been absorbing as much information I can on real estate investing (especially on BiggerPockets) and want to take it to the next level.  My short term goal is to replace my current job with active income through real estate investing.  I would love to start making connections with others to start learning more hands on in the Utah area.   I'm excited to start making some connections!!
