I had the great pleasure of growing up with real estate investing parents, so I lived through all of their experiences. 

NUDGE, the parent company (I think this was a slip up and mentioned mistakenly by someone) definitely didn't fair well in swaying my decision to move forward.

The situation is a bit tricky: both parents (people on title) are deceased (the mother just recently passed), but the property was not paid off.

@Mike Hanneman the gf's parents are from there and still has a lot of family on her dad's side out that way (meaning vague connections to the community, but still connections nonetheless.)  

(Loans, parents, scholarships, self, etc)  My gut says take first semester to learn your market and develop a local plan to execute come second semester. 

I am only 14 years old and I am look into real estate so I agreed to help my parents buy their first home.
