Need guidance - Should I rent to some1 w a discharged bankruptcy?
23 October 2018 | 7 replies
The cause of a bankruptcy is irrelevant, medical or otherwise, what is important is the length of time since the bankruptcy and there record since.Simply because it was caused by medical does not change the fact that following a bankruptcy a individual is financially fragile and a very high risk.

Truthfully, I'd just hate to see them in which market conditions change, which they may in the near future, and they're stuck with this bad investment losing money that they then couldn't exit all over again.

William, Some utility companies have warranty/ service agreements that you pay for every month, i do not know how fast they would come out to repair stuff. i know here in NJ our Gas/ Electric provider, PSEG, has such a program but you pay for it monthly whether you use it or not, i don't know if they do minor stuff, mostly larger appliances. but that may be different with the utility co. by you.

To lower rent or not?

Try offering a one year lease at $3000, if you are unsure of the advantages of M2M, as a alternative and see what they say.Fact is they are considering moving, when is uncertain, but likely hood is that reducing their rent $200 is only going to cost you money and not change their plans down the road.
