Better software will give you the option of charging the Tenant for those ACH fees, but I personally eat the cost of them.

They will ask you to fill out 1-2 pieces of paper, and they will probably send you a 1099 at the end of the year, but that should not be a big concern usually.I try and help my tenants out whenever I can if they can get free money.
