Currently I'm in the process of reading books/forum discussion posts, so any book recommendations or suggestions on  particularly helpful threads to read would be much appreciated.First off, I'm a college student in Minneapolis with 1-2 years left of my undergraduate degree remaining. for 2015-2016 I will be living in a house near the university, but once my lease is up, my mom plans on helping me to finance my own place (apartment or small house).

When it comes to selection an attorney, it might be helpful to know that the majority of bar complaints come from attorneys in practice more than 20 years followed by attorneys in practice less than 5 years.

Not desirable at all, for my area (as there's better SFH rental potential at lesser prices), but plan C.I'm trying to put in practice analytics of exit strategies and think through multiple risk scenarios, but think this is a good first step/learning opportunity in REI.Thoughts?

I knew we'd need more time to turn that one over, plus it was January that it was empty.In our market, most secure rentals months in advance, probably due to the college and wanting to be in an apartment before school starts.
