Oh and tile the ceiling.

We did outlets, light fixtures, light switches, vanities, ceiling fans, carpet, paint, all new windows, etc. 

Once you determine your position, that is your ceiling. anything else below that is icing on the cake.

Spoke with a plumber and the only way to fix this issue is by cutting a whole in the ceiling of the 2nd floor unit and fixing the plumbing.

To do so, add a floor to ceiling kinda door.

Both are on the ceiling.

That will cost you some money.  2)The beams in the crawl space that have been notched for the gas pipe (might be plumbing) will need to be replaced, and the beams that are rotten I bet are termite damaged and will need to be replaced.3) You will want to fix the water damage in the ceiling if the roof has not been fixed.
