I don't know about any insurance concerns because I'm in MF.This negates all the BS on "oh my goodness I get scared of the dark so I have to have my 150# rottweiler as my service animal cause WebMD said I need it and then I filled out this form on google and got it registered."

Depending on the damage there may even be structural issues which would have to be brought up to current code.It's understandable that a fire would cause the inspectors to be worried about wiring.
