I like the web site bestplaces.net which will compare these attributes including population, demographics, education level of people, crime rate etc.  

There are plenty (too many) resources on the web that teach wholesaling,  They all make it look easy and promise $10k checks every week.  

The lender put her through the rigorous application process and suddenly the loan officer is telling her that he JUST discovered that the guidelines require her to put 15% down instead of the 5%.I'm pretty sure that's false, but I want an official reference (on the web) to show him it's false (unless it's not).

If anyone can lead me in the right direction of finding web-sites or other resources I can use for research, I would deeply appreciate it.

It appears I have brought the real estate internet to Douglas AZ, consequently my web of web presence has gotten me many listings.

But don't take my word for it, there are Several recent articles in Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Green Street Advisors, National Real Estate Investor and all over the web right now as Self-Storage is once again in the spotlight - so do your homework and make your own judgment. 

For properties I already own, I use Google Alerts to keep track of any changes or potential issues by using keywords like 'South Lake Tahoe Permit' and I then get notified of any web traffic that hits on those keywords.
