Hello, Mary Ann from Southern Arizona

I am a real estate agent working in Cochise County Arizona, more specifically Douglas area....but I really don't limit myself too much. I guess you might say that I am generally a listing agent. It appears I have brought the real estate internet to Douglas AZ, consequently my web of web presence has gotten me many listings.
This is a small border town. I moved here from Rhode Island almost 3 years ago. ....bought 40 acres cash, sold my house and Acura, bought a dodge ram 4x4 and a travel trailer and came out here.
I've always worked for myself , I sold furniture in Boston before I moved. When I came here it took a while to figure out what to do. Selling Real Estate seems a natural. I love to learn. I'm pretty good with Real Estate law and contracts. I'm a geek on the computer. I love data so I don't mind doing market reports and contributing to my clients' knowledge.
This is a small town and I very much enjoy being a part of making it grow. I make my voice heard with the city and like being on top of the new developments and helping out when I can. I believe in this town. You can read about things happening here on my active rain blog;

Cochise County is very rural high desert....a well kept secret. There are many lovely off-grid homes and communities here. My place in the hills is off-grid, solar powered.
I've partnered up and have found myself with a place to live in-town on whatever rehab project we are working on.
I've been trying things to be diverse and create income in this market. Lately I've been holding up the back-end of a remodeling gig where we sell the investor a flip and rehab it for him/her.
I've also gotten us a job of trash removal for a new hotel being built here....(pays for beer!). We made a 20 yard dumpster trailer from an old mobile home. :D
Anyway, these forums look to be interesting and I hope I can contribute with value.
peace,
Mary Ann
