NJ Transit North South West and evaluate multi family 1 mile from the trains.Then I would evaluate Philadelphia and DC since the trains tie into NYC and have built excellent infrastructure between new industry and colleges.High retainage in both for graduates in both Cities when they graduate.Let me know if I assist with any questions.Regards,Joe Scorese

not sure how Virginia works @Russell Brazil  probably knows.. but it sounds like there is a redemption period and you have someone trying to upset you bid.we see this happen sometimes in Orygun  NOT often but you will get an investor that will go to the home owner and talk them into redeeming and splitting profits  that sort of thing

Newbie from south shore mass.

I will more than likely put 2.5% or so down and with the first time home buyer program in South Carolina they will give me a $5,000 grant towards the down payment.

I attended a duplex auction the other day in South Florida--some 80 people showed up before I lost count...and nearly all registered to bid.

How does the Palm Springs area suit your fancy or check oceandevelopment .com in South LA.

House is in Daly City, CA just south of San Francisco.Has anyone had any experience with taking on such a lease, and any issues it may have created for a rental property?
