@Davis Barnes I’m in upstate South Carolina.

The South Florida will eventually be a retirement home and I got real lucky there so far.  

*Soon after, I will be moving to the South, where I will purchase a relatively moderate-priced home (less than $350,000), likely a single-family, possibly a duplex.~ I will most likely purchase the first home (multi-family) using a bridge-DSCR loan combo or a FHA203K (3.5-20% down). 

The home is a 3/2 in a great neighborhood next to the community pool, park, and playground and located just south of beltway and and I45.We are new to the midterm strategy and trying to figure out what the demand is and the pricing.
