How to buy $2M house in San Francisco / Silicon Valley?

If you put 50% down on a 250k condo in San Diego, you can get this return.  

Have to admit it's a bit scary :)I am willing to invest up to $150K.I'd love to hear suggestions as to where I should start and what to aim for.P.S: what's your take on buying a studio or one-bed close to me in San Francisco given that I live here?

Pretty flexible in terms of location - Peninsula, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Fremont, Walnut creek.

You can get a good rental in Killeen/Waco for that, and there's still a few flips in San Antonio that could stay under your $120k budget.
