Thought I would reach out for help as I am really struggling...Situation:- Canadian who does not currently own any assets in the US- been traveling the world for the past 2 years so also no personal tax recordsReally want to start BRRRR but I am having problems with getting non hard-money loans to long term hold the assets I want to acquire.Spoke to some ABL and they will only lend if I had my own home in the US.

About the only deduction I'll take is travel expenses to go and inspect my own properties which are 1100 miles away.  

Are you renting a basement apartment medium-term to traveling nurses?

I am looking to first a way to retire earlier to spend time with my family and travel!

Reminds me of the guy in Trailer Park Boys.. 

I sent it about 108 days....Mail takes a while to travel and since I also sent it return receipt (extra cost to have her sign for it), I wanted to give her a few extra days, in case she missed the delivery and would have to go to the post office to pick it up.

We like to travel, so we rent a lot of STRs....hate staying in hotels. 

Heavily invested in real estate & then retiring in '98 I eliminated my biggest danger to life ... traveling 2 hours to/from a JOB in crazy traffic every day. 

I am only looking to invest in rental properties within this area, as I am more familiar with the location and is within travel distance.Curious to hear what others have seen, and thoughts in investing rental properties in the Bay Area that shows positive cash flow.Thanks!
