Even writing out this introduction is out of my comfort zone.My family and I just moved to the area a few months ago and I want/need to start my investment journey.

Fast forward to fall 2017, I discovered Bigger Pockets and started getting some motivation and direction to begin my RE journey. 

I appreciate your comments about providing ongoing education but it seems even this is a real gamble.... at least for the renter. 

Eric,You are going to get tons of different answers and opinions on this, so I would definitely do your own homework and education.

We have some knowledge of the business, having been educated over the years in various aspects of it.
