Personally, I wouldn't buy Austin because of Apple, what I would do is look at the submarkets and what the ripple effect will be.  

For example, who is responsible for snow removal, you or the tenant, how long can they have a guest until the guest is considered a resident there and should also be paying rent, you encouraged the tenant to get renter's insurance because you will not be responsible for any damaged or stolen items, etc.
