If, however, you're getting the quote just for the information (completing a property info packet) you should pay them for their efforts.

I've also had my Property Managers do them for properties they manage, and I paid an appraiser once to do an out of state property.It's not really rocket science if you perform reasonable due diligence efforts.

Arizona doesn't fund schools and supports privatization efforts ie doesn't matter as much.
