I've been able to automate things with the city i.e. taxes, utility bills, permits along with "case management" for assigning contractors for quick solutions. 

I can't count on both hands the amount of clients that have come through our doors that purchased multi-family buildings, only to find out that they actually can't pull a permit, or get a rental license.

All work with permits.

I've heard of one way is   ... if a prospective tenant doesnt fill out an application completely that is a reason for not accepting their application. ; )   But I dont know why you would want to deny a suitable tenant 

Here are some things that can become issues from an insurance perspective:When looking at the properties here are some things to look out for from an Insurance prospective:1.Any in-ground tanks (active or inactive)2.Any Knob & Tube or Aluminum Wiring3.If built before 1978, does the building have Lead Safe certifications4.Any wood stoves or secondary heating units.

Tenant interviews are usually not permitted during due diligence because the prospective landlord tries to find out whether they can game the seller into a lower price.

Any tips on how to go about marketing for RTO property without completely dismissing prospective rental tenants in case I'm unable to land an RTO deal soon enough.

I tend to be conservative when calculating my numbers on a prospective property so I usually beat my projections.
