If you prepay the mortgage outside of those terms, you are negatively impacting the lenders income stream.  

Low maintence, predictable, and therefore, income stream is reliable.

That is what Fannie Mae wants to know, you have no intent to dwell somewhere else.  

Perhaps you could ask yourself why you want the license and what that will mean for your income stream.  

Basically I want to have multiple income streams, creating more financial freedom and wealth. 

With larger commercial buildings you will always be dealing with investors, which means you may wait longer to sell, and unless you've been able to significantly improve the revenue stream or costs of the property, you're buying based on the cap rate and still again selling there.

Remember, there's only one stream of income to cover it all, and any size roof costs the same to replace whether its a 1fam or 4fam.
