We have toyed with some options up off East/West Camino Cielo but not since the bills passed. 

@Matt Twaddell the issues you'd have are mentioned above as one ADU is allowed but not two ADUs  on a duplex lot per the SB 13 law that passed Jan 2020.

With inspections comes certain things that may have to be added/changed to pass inspection that would not have to be done if there wasn't an inspection.

BUT, since this is the first year there are likely losses passed to you as a result of accelerated depreciation and cost segregation strategies that the sponsor likely employed so there shouldn't be any tax liability.
