I'm hoping to get a ton more advice, some suggested reading material and articles, and possibly some constructive criticism from the pros here on BiggerPockets.

I'm on my third house hack here in East Oceanview, and it's been critical to scaling to where I am today.

You are so right that building your team is critically important.

But the ability to control the heat or air conditioning is critical to me and I find that control almost non-existent in most hotels. 

The building codes make a distinction between water “service” pipe, which means pipe that delivers water to the house, and water “distribution” pipe, which is the pipe inside a house that runs to the plumbing fixtures.

It's critical right now that you take your cash and put it into lending with people who are flipping.

Having my wife as a business partner has been extremely critical. 

I've never ever installed one of these and asked around a ton; I was even advised to "leave that to a pro" since it's a pretty critical part of the security but, hey, how interesting would my blog on BP be if I did something crazy like pay someone else to do it?
