I'm new to the bigger pockets environment and new to realestate investing. Right now I'm looking to navigate through what is a credible resource and what is BS.

I'm eager to start investing and welcome any advice or assistance.

Househack all the way. It seems you are located in Virginia beach so you might have some duplex options, up here in northern Virginia since we don't have that option the first move most investors do is purchase either a townhome, sfh or condo and rent out some rooms to offset as much as possible from the mortgage payment. If not buying a multifamily you need to find the right lay out to interact with tenants as little as possible.

In regards to resources, check out meet ups in your area and connect with locals you'll find the most common use strategies and you can start narrowing down your options.
