I am from Southern California and after analyzing the market here I am finding it very difficult to find properties with the ROI that I am looking for, therefore I am starting the research other areas and Houston is one that interests me. 

And I have analyzed the deal for Flipping very conservative with Running costs for 6 months and Repair costs of $140,00 ( including 5% contingency).

I have been reading quite a bit and know +- what I need to know though have to analyze more properties to finally find a deal...

I have an investment idea that I'm hoping the experienced members can help me analyze in terms what I need to consider and the how-to's. 

Perhaps there is a better strategy for analyzing the numbers for a primary and looking for better or best way to structure the deal.  

Get comfortable analyzing properties and making sure the numbers make sense according to your criteria. 

I love the podcasts, look forward to diving into forums and blogs and I plan to start analyzing a couple properties a day very soon and I am not afraid to ask questions.

After analyzing all of our options, we determined that the best decision, both financially and emotionally, is to move back home to have family support with the baby while house hacking a 3 or 4 family as she finishes school (my RE goals is to BRRRR properties until I can supplement my salary).

Hi @John Arendsen Yes I am, there are many issues regarding city regulations that I am analyzing before I can make a final decision whether is a good idea for me or not.
