I am hoping all of this will lay the foundation for getting an LLC started and my first property started by the end of the year. 

My 5 year plan is to lay ground work to move into apartment complexes in about 5 years.

Especially in large metro areas, neighborhoods can change dramatically on a block by block basis so you really need to understand the lay of the land.
