The police came after they were there with me for over 5 months and broke down my door ( since I lived 30 minutes away and they just couldn't wait, although the tenants were not home) they stopped paying rent after 3 months, and changed cell phones regularly.  

You can have as many properties as you want in an LLC, it just depends how many eggs/ properties you want to put in one basket. 

I value my housing situation, car and cell phone bill much more than beer and partying.

I think your best bet is to use that "nest egg" for an investment but find a way to get it back.
