My plan is to write a letter to the owners introducing myself and basically inquiring whether or not they're interested in selling.  

Figure I should introduce myself after lurking around BP for 6-7 months now.  

Would be happy to share what I learn.I would encourage getting your real estate agents license at your convenience.Even if you are not interested in becoming an agent the process is a great learning tool.It exposes you to the many different facets of real estate.It also introduces you to a lot of people keen to understand more about real estate.At the end of the process you can earn your license so the experience eventually can save/earn you money on any investment deals you will do.It also gives you options to capitalize on the information and experience you gain over time.

You tell them when you first meet and introduce yourself as the owner.

I haven't had the opportunity to introduce myself yet but I have a question I hope someone can help with.  

I’m I sell enterprise software to billion dollar corporations and always looking to improve my sales game so I make use my 1.5-2 hr commute and dedicate it to sales audio books and pod casts but managed to have found myself listening to REI podcasts then introduced to bigger pockets and I was like a little kid that couldn’t get enough.

I thought it best to stop lurking on BP and actually introduce myself to the community.

I am so happy to finally take the time and introduce myself.
