Hello BP community!  Figure I should introduce myself after lurking around BP for 6-7 months now.  I first found BP from signing up for Amazon Audible one night, because the first book I read was Brandon Turner's "The Book on Managing Rental Property."  There is a long story leading to why that was my first book instead of my typical romantic novel, but in short, my mother decided to transfer her current home/commercial rental property over to me earlier that day, and just sort of told me casually over an after-lunch phone call -hence I panicked and went looking for books to read.  So, fast forward to now, 3 books from Brandon Turner later and of course'Rich Dad, Poor Dad,' I may have become a bit obsessed with the new world I have stepped into and the information that I run into have been quite astounding.  I am really excited to finally make my first post and hopefully become involve in more discussions from here on out.  Looking forward to meeting everyone to hopefully help others with my limited knowledge and learn more about this business to help run my mother's rental property the right way, possibly buying my own property or properties in the near future.

By the way, I am a senior motion graphic animator at an ad agency in Tampa Bay for about 10 years, and an artist all my life.  If anyone in BP needs my services in animation or corporate explanation vid, etc., I will happily offer my services for beers and good conversations. : )
