Newbie from Georgia - Atlanta to Athens

Hi everyone,

My name is Jarrett Babcock and I'm from Georgia. I'm completely new to real estate aside from reading a few books on real estate investing and being a consistent listener of the bigger pockets podcast. I was born in Georgia and intend on staying here for a bit!

I'm a commercial underwriter for an insurance company, so if you ever need advice on coverages, costs, exclusions, or more, I can hook you up! My ultimate goal is to become financially independent and own my own real estate company. I truly believe real estate is one of the most efficient ways of reaching FI. 

For hobbies I love listening to music, playing guitar, reading, being outdoors (hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking), lifting weights, playing sports, and meditating. Having deep discussions on music is one of my favorite things to do. As for my more boring interests....I like finance and numbers! Analyzing deals will never be a chore for me. I love putting numbers in excel and making my own formulas. Let's connect!
