I will be taking care of the windows (double pane to reduce the noise), but I know that being next to the bridge will be a deal killer for many.Outside of minimizing physical concerns by adjusting price and the windows (the unit has all the bells and whistle a buyer would expect in a neighborhood such as this one), what can I do to minimize or allay the emotional concerns about the train noise?

I'm guessing that since this is your first deal, and you're selling your baby (personal residences always have emotions attached) that you're not going to feel comfortable selling to either of those groups.Your comments about doing this a a lease option makes it sound like you don't know much about lease options.

Hmm... buying personal residence is always a little tricky becasue IMHO it is not purely a "business decision" and there is some emotion there which tends to make financial decisions more difficult.
