It would be advisable, no matter what legal entity you may so choose for you Real Estate business, to be keenly aware of the fact that the IRS is aggressively going after LLC/Investors who have been using the Professional Real Estate designation on their tax returns to offset losses etc. and holding property in Individual LLC's.

I just want to concentrate on: saving as much as I can now, making sure I'm educated in what I'm doing, investing in good deals, and working hard and efficiently with my time.My first question is getting input on whether or not I should be paying off my student loans (see above) asap, or whether I should be paying them off over a 15-20 year period and saving the rest the money that I'm not spending to begin investing in real estate.

Going to hurt resale value until the area is completely sold out.Also, if its not a spec house, there going to kill you at the design studio.. everything just looks so much nicer.. cost just a little more!
