I am the buyer under contract of this house (built in 1991), during inspection we find that in the crawlspace there was evidence of past water flooding up to 1/2 foot deep.

exactly ours are called seepage trench's and as such are about 1 foot side and 15 to 20 feet long 4 feet deep ..

Hopefully it’s a big bank with deep pockets, and not some mon & pop from bigger pockets.

The shady thing is not disclosing code violations, in fact a seller is legally required to do so and a listing agent can get into deep doodoo for such a failure.

Examples I've done on mine between tenants: carpet cleanings, repaint porch, replace window blinds, deep clean all surfaces and appliances, lawn care, touch up paint walls/doors/trim etc.
