We have about 70% who have agreed in writing upon signing the lease to pay via ACH/direct debit which is great, however, I am trying to add some additional automation.

Does anyone have a software service they use to collect rents?

I'm a software developer by day, and I'm looking forward to physical labor.I'd prefer to target higher value deals with larger upside and lower cost / sq.ft. but the barrier to entry is pushing me back down.  

We use Rent Manager Software with Paylease so residents can ACH the money into our bank account, if the resident does not have a bank account they can use CashPay where they go to a Kroger or Walmart give them the cash and they put it in our bank account.

@Jason Gurvitz the county assessor is one way, or there are a lot of different software programs that can help, like Property Radar or Propstream.

I'm also currently working on a similar software that breaks down crime by neighborhoods.

It’s just that the smartphone app for excel has not the same capabilities as the excel software on computers so the spreadsheet cannot run properly without the full features of excel (including macros for max price estimate, etc)

We use an online property management software, and it is makes everything so much easier!

I'm also a big believer in using software to automated management tasks.

All our current STRs are automated, so we dont do much with them and they function on their own with little input.
