You get paid less here for the same skill set as you would living in Dallas or Houston because of this competition.

We're considering to buy a Cabin in Broken Bow, OK about 3hrs from Dallas but i’m a bit concerned that we won't be there if something bad happens, how to find a cleaners, handyman etc., i dont want to pay 30-35% to PM.

Since I posted this I have switched to drop cowboy.

I can't wait to remodel those house.I see lot of challenges bidding bad house in expensive location, while inventory is generally larger in more median-income property.I've already gotten cash offers for a quad plex in Dallas, I bought three weeks ago at $125k more than I paid.
