If you are going to self manage, how do you personally weight managing one building vs. two?

Travis:We provided the engineering report (which was stamped by a Texas registered engineer, the stamp carries a lot of weight) to the buyer to give them comfort that the foundation problem, while observed in some visual evidence of settling through wall cracks at corners ect., was not severe and could be dealt with one pier.  

This is the fastest and best way to build a list and and this list is worth it's weight in gold.If your not in a state where Property Radar had all the data already, then you are out of luck.

You shouldn't put too much weight into RE "gurus" on these podcasts or their "get rich quick" schemes ... it will land you broke, in jail, or both.

I have an issue that's related to this topic that you could probably shed some light on.

An entity is like a tool to shed water, ie a poncho and an umbrella, both have strengths and weaknesses...At the end of the day, unless you like walking around smelling like a dog in a stinky wool sweater with shoes squeaking from within, you will elect to form one or the other.
