Our company policy is to send out renewal notices 90 days prior to their lease renewal date.

You may have no coverage at all- if that is the case, ask your agent what you can do to mitigate your risk, and I'd not renew that tenant at my first opportunity.

They are allowed extensions under certain conditions.If there is six months left and the new owner knows right away they will not be renewing the lease they should give warning right away.
