I do the round trip to show my displeasure with the requirement (and the fact that they were charging inactivity fees without informing me) and to demonstrate that it will have no effect on how often I use the accounts for substantial business.

But, it has also made me wonder when the merry-go-round ends for the leverage-til-you-drop group. 

Units included studio apartments as small as 240 square feet.

Took out about 5 inches of drywall across three feet and the wall feels solid everywhere else except where the drywall meets the fiberglass tub/shower combo.

But still I feel like I'm just waiting for the floor to drop out from under my feet.  

I think purchasing a multi-unit and going the house hacking trick is a great way to get your feet wet especially if you're leaning toward buy-hold...the Highlands area will be a tough one to find a good deal on but it is possible! 

I am looking to invest in a turnkey property to get my feet wet and will expand from there.  

It's a really easy process, and a good way to get your feet wet rehabbing. 

Bathtub is for washing the dog, soaking your feet, soaking,  soaking your wet suit, the occasional visiting kid, etc...   

My home in Roseville, 1600 sq feet was recently re roofed for a little over 9k.
