You are, after all, providing a service in your efforts and can effectively charge a fee for your services under the declaration of a contractor in the form of a Corp or LLC.It gets very convoluted and if not done right, is illegal.

Garrett Sutton's books Start Your Own Corporation and Loopholes in Real Estate seem to be pretty thorough. ~$12 and $15 on Amazon respectively.Though they might help it seems the best practice would be to get a good asset protection attorney on your team.
