However, the statute of limitations in WA is 6 years I since the date of the last payment and the seller doesn't have the payment history, and Ocwen wouldn't give it.

WSJ article on deed fraud aka as stealing your house with the aid of online property records.Given our government's horrific record on protecting online records (every government worker or former government with a security clearance had their fingerprints their personal history and a large part of their financial history stolen by the Chinese government, one of the worst screw-ups in American history) this can become a major issue especially for landlords who very rarely or never visit their properties.

This has Equifax, Transunion, Experian on it.Each will have a credit score.If your wife's credit is new credit sometimes it drops down a lot in the first few months and after months of positive history goes up higher than it was before.Also for instance if you have a credit card of 1,000 limit and are using more than 33% of it ( 330 dollars ) then it can impact your score heavily in a negative way.
