Now that our long distance move is over and we have settled into our new jobs, I am finally starting to look at the local market and start the process of networking.

I'm interested in learning about buy-and-hold properties, and networking with those who have been successful in the field, and willing to teach.

Our first networking event was a SMASH HIT!

To me it's about building your network.

I've sometimes wondered the same thing, but I have since shifted my focus onto networking with other investors.

If you have an easy deal then the banker will approach their vast network to make sure that you get the best possible options.

We were definatly thinking about still joining just for the networking opportunites and I was planning to attend the meeting this month of the 15th.

I understand the concept of OPM and utilizing hard money lenders to fund an investment purchase, I guess it all comes down to networking and getting to know the right people to actually make it happen, as is how it works in any field/industry.
