New member military move from FL to SC

Hi Everyone!!!

My name is Heather. I have been a long time lurker on BP but never really decided to join the discussion until now. I was a buy and hold investor in FL (7 units) until my fiance (who is in the Navy) and I were transferred to Charleston, SC where we will remain until May 2014. This leaves us with quite the conundrum in our investing goals. Knowing we are moving again in about 20 months, how do we continue forward progress in a new temporary city. Looking to continue lurking, absorbing information and asking questions. If any one else out there is in (or has been) in the same situation I would love to hear form you!!!
