I was looking to buy a home for for myself like every ordinary person would but after reading this forum i thought even if i am a regular home buyer i can treat it as an investment, Now property in brooklyn queeens is expensive.But is cheaper in long island, westchester and surrounding counties(not exactly cheap but compared to square foot in nyc)Although property is expensive in NYC, taxes are way cheaper compared to all surrounding areas even including counties in nj.Using staten island as an exampleBecause in bk or queens you wont get as big of a home for that price.So if i had a 750k investment i would be paying around 7k a year in taxes and theres a slight chance of appreciation as well over there.Compared to say in nassau county a 750k home would be about 14-15k tax a year.

Since the ground is likely to be covered with a foot of snow, there is no plan for the exterior aside from what I've already mentioned.

that is funny that the original plan did have those closets, the door placement is probably because when full of clothes, the closets don't have walking room to the end, merely 'reaching' room.the 4 foot shelf of wasted space is probably meant for extra linens/towels/etc. it is odd that you have to go through a bathroom to get to that back room. that wasn't thought out very well.

And we felt like it may help us get that higher dollar per square foot that our realtor thinks we could get with this place, because it is overall very cute. 

I had a friend who thought he was "all that" with a chainsaw, because he cut some stuff down before.Long story short, 50 foot tree started learning towards the house as he cut the base.

I still love conservative linear markets where properties rent for around 1% of the value per month. :-)

@Wenjuan Yao  I am looking over your home but at first glance you have it under priced by at $10/ foot.
