Then you'll at least have some sort of proof if that company is damaging your home's reputation in any way, and you can possibly hire your own "professional" for a second opinion.   

As soon as I and renewed the lease the tenant wrote me this long message with all these thing wrong, including drain smells bad(she’s been putting bleach down the drain to kill the odor, the lights in the kitchen and bedroom are flickering(this ones easily fixable) & the bathroom floor is in-caving because of water damage(she suggested a new shower door).

I have clients that still want to move forward with finishing their basement and my only suggestion to them is to look at how to do so "if" the home floods the basement will be damaged.

Just for the record, I have been ripped off by dishonest contractors and I have had tenants damage rental units and lie to my face.
