As far as markets look for multi industrial areas like Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Clearwater, Daytona Beach. 

She's in Fort Lauderdale.

I'm new to the Raleigh area as I am retiring from the us army and have been living in the fort Bragg/Fayetteville area.  

My primary interest is in flipping single family residentials in Keller and North Fort Worth area.

Something to consider though - decent multifamily rentals geared toward singles and located close to downtown Petersburg or in the Walnut Hills area (off of 301) attract military transients (6 months - 1 year or more) i.e. students attending school at, or stationed solo at Fort Lee. 

I have read the Fort Lauderdale market still has good returns if you find the right deals.
