I am looking forward to attending the BP and CFREI meetup to actually get to meet some people with similar goals and interests, but for now I feel almost lost and that fear of the unknown keeps creeping up on me when I least expect it.Either way, I am going to keep trucking along, but I wanted to start up a possible discussion with the community to at least have a chance to talk to people going through something similar or people that have gone through it and came out on top.

So i bid a bit higher than I normally would, with an inspection contingency, just to get a better chance at winning the bid.  

I had a chance to speak the gentleman who performed the pre-listing inspection a few weeks afterward and he told me that the real estate company who hired him to perform the pre-listing inspection excludes the roof, the exterior foundation, and a few other important items from his scope of work when he is working for them.

I am currently looking into getting my real estate license in North Carolina and hopefully this will increase my knowledge of real estate and which direction i need to proceed. 

The property can be turned into a four bedroom 2 bath (through space in the basement) which would increase the rent potential substantially.
