Zillow entering the Wholesale Market
16 May 2019 | 4 replies
@john Nachtigalli'm surprised this is not a bigger topic on BP, not only can Zillow get very low funding to work in cash, but can lose a lot of money in an Amazon style market share grab from realtors and investors simultaneously, hence massive cold calling and mailing operations, major advertising. so who has more credibility the huge company buying yr house, or the guy who lives down the street and says he's better at valuation than Zillow?

Winter Haven Rental Rates for 4/2.5 - 33884
3 May 2019 | 7 replies
An option you might want to consider is short term rental (Airbnb, VRBO) since it is so close to Legoland, you have families visiting that area year round, and one good advertising advantage is since Winter Haven is central to Tampa and Orlando, families can use that location as a HUB to visit Busch Gardens, Universal, Disney etc.Of course if that was an option, make sure to check local rules and regulation for short term rentals.

Building a Buyer List?

@Darleni Ven Have a property under contract thats of course a Good deal, then advertise it (Bandit signs, Social Media, Website, etc.) buyers should start contacting you, get their info (Name, email, number, and types of properties they are looking for) even after you have sold that property keep advertising the property, not for too long, so buyers will contact you, don't do the ghost bandit sign stuff you don't want to ruin your name from the beginning.

So, you have to add up all of the costs to figure out if you got a diamond (probably not) or an "okay deal" (pretty typical) or a lemon (more often than advertised ;-). be sure to get the details before you write a check.
